Jermichael Mitchell was born in Salisbury, Maryland, the largest city on the Eastern Shore. Jermichael is very passionate about the youth in his community. For over 10yrs he has been involved in creating youth programs, youth events, and youth sports activities in his community. He played his High School career at Wicomico High School from 1999-2002. In 2001 he helped lead his high school Basketball team to the 2A State Championship game falling short of Baltimore City’s Paul Lawrence Dunbar High School by 2pts. The very next year Jermichael and teammates found themselves back in the 2A State Title game this time vs Central High School out of the PG county area. This time Wicomico High would go on to win their schools and their counties first 2A Boys State Basketball Title finishing the season off ¬†perfect with a ¬†28-0 record.

After his high school career Jermichael jumped straight into coaching. Coaching in several spring and summer leagues, also becoming a volunteer coach for his former team. 2013-2016 he was the JV Head Basketball coach at a rival high school in his city called Parkside High School having 3 very successful seasons and also helping turm the Varsity program around as well. 2015/2016 Basketball Season was the first year ever Parkside High School was the City Champs(Bennett High School and Wicomico High School in same city) dethroning Wicomico High School.

Jermichael is the Co-Founder/President of Kidz ROC(Reaching Our Children) and Lady Roc Youth Basketball programs, runs ABC123 Skills&Drills(his personal basketball training company), and runs PRIDE Rec Center which is the gym he does most of his programs out of. Jermichael joined GIFTED ATHLETES because of his hometown connection with both Craig Winder and Kyle Camper who were also his teammates on the 2002 State title team. He believes every youth has a gift that can be molded into success.
